Sean Collier

Tufts Emergency Medical Services will be keeping Officer Collier and his family in our prayers and thoughts. To all of the police officers out there, we have nothing but the utmost respect for the work you do. You make the world a safer place and risk your lives every day. For that we are all grateful.

My deepest condolences to Officer Collier's family, friends, and all of the men and women of the MIT Police Department and the MIT community. All of us in Law Enforcement share your pain and sorrow.

The men and women of the Boston College Police Department send our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Collier family, the members of the MIT Police Department, MBTA Officer Donohue and all the victims of these senseless acts of evil. The men and women of the Massachusetts Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators send their sympathy to the entire Collier family, as well, to our brothers and sisters at the MIT Police Department. We stand together to assist all of you in the days to come in any way. Officer Collier exemplified the absolute best in professional policing and very well represented professional policing in an exemplary way. Be assured we will long remember Sean for his dedication to The MIT Police mission and for his unweaving devotion and commitment
to making our entire society a better place. His Patrol is now done may he be granted eternal rest in peace.

On behalf of the men and women of the MassBay Community College Police Department, our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone at the MIT Police Department, as well as Officer Collier's family and friends. Officer Sean Collier represents all that is good in our profession, but his tragic death reminds us all of the evil we face as well. I write on behalf of the men and women of the Amherst College Police; We mourn the loss of Sean Collier, by all accounts a wonderful young man and a professional police officer. As the parent of a college student, I truly appreciate those that protect our campuses and make them safe places to live and learn. I am truly saddened that Officer Collier made the ultimate sacrifice and my heart goes out to his family, and his colleagues at MIT.
