Sean Collier

My thoughts are with Sean's family today. I so sad to hear about your loss. I really want to thank Sean and you for protecting all of us here on campus. I am very grateful for his excellent service.

Thank you for your kindness and service towards our children and the MIT community - we will never forget you, Sean.

As an MIT parent, knowing that the MIT Police Dept.was always on duty to protect our children gave me tremendous comfort. As the daughter of a NYC FDNY Lieutenant, I thank Sean and all of the MIT Police for their service to the community they protect. Those that provide service to our communities are rare individuals, heros all, that run towards danger when instinct tells us all to run away. My profound condolences to Sean's family. May you find some comfort in the number of lives he's touched.

Sean represented the best in people at a time when everyone was thinking about the worst. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Officer Collier's family and friends. We as a community are grieving, but the loss of a loved one is so much more profound; may you find solace and hope in the days to come.
