When someone you cared for becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. We know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their time on earth and called them a friend, and a brother. For some moments in life there are no words. Peace be with you Sean as your journey ends here with us and begins anew with those who have passed before us.

Respectfully, Belmont, New Hampshire Police Department.

Sean was an amazing guy. We lived on the same street together for about 18 months and he was always there to look out for me and my roommates. Anytime a Boston game was on he'd invite us over to watch. I'm happy to see that all the articles written about Sean have really captured his true spirit and kind personality. I hope his family knows that he was cared about by so many people. I'll miss Sean.

Prayers and condolences to the Collier Family and to the MIT Community. I remember the Campus Police well - they were present, responsive, and ensured our safety - even escorted us on more than one occasion from a wee-hours of the morning study session back to the our dorm safely. A belated thank you and wishes for healing.

I graduated in 1980, but I remember the campus police as very professional, and very understanding. He definitely had great potential. I know he's in a better place and I pray for his family and friends.

To the Collier family and friends:

I am truly saddened by the terrible chain of events that included the loss of your son, cousin, friend... We can only hope that his passing will come to mean something more to all of us and to help give purpose to those that currently sacrifice their lives to protect others as Sean did. Please find solace in your faith and support each other as I imagine he would have wanted.
