Sean Collier

Although I didn't know Sean, I feel the pain that any parent would feel in the loss of their child. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. May he rest on peace.

God Bless Officer Sean Collier and his family. Today the THIN BLUE LINE is one man less. You might be gone but will never be forgotten.

I don't know what will happen to MIT if you were not there that night. I was shocked about the news. Hope you can continue your police dream in the heaven.

Sadly, I never met Sean Collier, but I feel a bond to him through that hugely meshed network called the MIT Family. From what I have read of his life, Sean is a person whose friendship I would love to have shared. He was a young man wonderfully dedicated to his professional calling, to his family, and to his friends. To all those around him. His tragic departure leaves a huge void in this world. If it is any consolation, those whom Sean touched in life have their memories of him with which to fill that void. Sean has not taken these memories with him. They are ours to keep forever, and to make us smile every time… Hereafter, the cold blow we were struck by Sean's all-too-early death last week will ever be warmed over by the thoughts and memories we retain of his presence among us.

My deepest condolences to Sean’s family and to all those whose paths he crossed in life and who are heartbroken at his passing. Remember him always.

I know that you are in heaven now and I bless you for all your time served here at MIT. Thank you for your contagious big smile and waiting patiently in the crosswalk holding back traffic until my dog Benjamin and I could cross Vasser Street safely. You are with the Angels now looking down upon all of us. You are sorely missed. God Be With You!

Sean Collier will be missed.
I visited MIT this spring with my son. We both remarked one how safe and welcoming the MIT campus felt.
I know in my heart that Sean Collier and his fellow officers are the reason we felt that way.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and loved ones.

My heartfelt condolences to all of you for this great loss. I cannot imagine the pain you guys are going through but I want you to know that my prayers and thoughts are with you and I know that Officer Sean Collier is smiling upon you from heaven. God Bless all of his MIT family -- ESPECIALLY -- those in the Police Department. May his memory be eternal.

Dearest Sean, you were, are, and always will be a part of our MIT neighborhood. Against those who would destroy it, you showed us the true meaning of "community" and friendship.
