Sean Collier

You and your family are in my prayers

Deepest sympathies to Officer Collier's family and friends.
The shock travelled around the world and was clearly felt in The Netherlands.

This is one of those times when words are unable to convey the sadness that I and so many others feel at this time. I can only hope to express the love and sorrow to Sean's family that I feel. Thank you for being there for all of us.

My sympathies to Officer Collier's family, colleagues, and the entire MIT community. As a student at MIT, the campus police were both a resource and friends. They take their oath to protect and serve the students very seriously and it is appreciated every day. I know Officer Collier's sacrifice will be long remembered by a grateful community.

Rest in peace brother. Find peace in that your memory will last forever as a true hero. There is no greater sacrifice.

When someone you cared for becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. We know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their time on earth and called them a friend, and a brother. For some moments in life there are no words. Peace be with you Sean as your journey ends here with us and begins anew with those who have passed before us.

Sean was an amazing guy. We lived on the same street together for about 18 months and he was always there to look out for me and my roommates. Anytime a Boston game was on he'd invite us over to watch. I'm happy to see that all the articles written about Sean have really captured his true spirit and kind personality. I hope his family knows that he was cared about by so many people. I'll miss Sean.
