My family and I live in western Canada, and as a retired R.C.M.Police officer, we want you to know that our thought and prayers are with you all during this tragic and senseless act of violence. May the good Lord bless his brothers in the police force, and keep them strong, and safe! The people of America are very strong and patriotic and that is a wonderful testimony to what you stand for. No one can say much to assuage the sadness for the loss of Sean, but he now rests in the hands of God, and will be remembered that he, like so many others, have stood the front line to protect the people. May God bless you all, now and forever more!!!!

We are saddened by the loss of one MIT police officer, Sean Collier. Officer Collier was shot to death at the site close to the Chemical Engineering building. MIT is setting up Sean A. Collier Memorial Fund to honor Officer Sean Collier. I appreciate that you may help spread the words to the MIT community in Taiwan, although I assume that you and other MIT alumni may also be informed.

Two generations of my family were proudly to be educated and nurtured at MIT. As MIT alumni and parents of MIT students, we appreciate the services that MIT campus police officers have provided to our loved ones. Thank you, Officer Sean Collier! You will be remembered by the MIT community. May you rest in Peace.
