Sean buddy. U were a great police officer and an even better person. It was an absolute pleasure to know you for the short time I did while attending Salem state with u. U are the definition of an American Hero. Rest In Peace buddy. All of ur friends from ssc love and miss u. Be well

Thank you so much for your service protecting the students like our son at MIT. Your heart of genuine concern for people is a great loss to the world, a loss felt most sharply by your close family and friends. Rest in Peace.

I AM SO, SO, SORRY.... THIS MAN THAT BARELY GOT A FOOT IN THE DOOR OF LIFE... SOMEDAY, I HOPE YOUR LITTLE ONES CAN FIND CONSONANCE BY THE NUMBERS OF PEOPLE THAT CAME TO GIVE THEIR RESPECT, SENT PRAYS AND RESPONDED IN MANY WAYS TO HIM & HIS FAMILY, WITH A HEART FELT SORROW, RESPECT, GRATITUDE AND EMPATHY FOR THE HORRENDOUS LOSS OF A FATHER, A HUSBAND, AND A CHILD OF GRIEVING PARENTS.

No tuve la oportunidad de conocer personalmente al oficial Collier, pero por las cosas que me conto mi hija y por la forma que lo describio creo que lo conocia desde hace mucho tiempo. No hay palabras para expresar mi agradecimiento por las atenciones que tuvo con mi hija cuando se lastimo de su pie, pero eso me deja ver el gran corazon que tenia y la gran perdida que no solo la comunidad de MIT ha perdido sino que toda una nacion ha perdido a un gran ser humano. Mis mas sinceras y sentidas condolencias a la familia Collier.

I didn't have the opportunity to meet Collier officer, but for the things that my daughter told me and by the way she described him, I think I knew him for a long time. There are no words to express my gratitude for the hospitality he had with my daughter when she hurt her foot, but that lets me see the big heart he had and the great loss that not only the MIT community has but also our nation. we have lost a great human being. My most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Collier family.

Sean made the ultimate sacrifice keeping others safe. May his family find strength and courage in the coming months. GOD bless his family and friends.

To the entire policing and security community that Sean Collier was an exemplary part of, thank you for your service in keeping us as safe as you can each and every day. You run into danger as you keep us as far away from it as you can. Thank you. May the Universe keep you as safe as it can in return. And when you find danger and sorrow, I hope we can offer you and yours help, support, and eventual peace through a loving community and a united humanity.

Thank you Sean for keeping our campus safe. I bike by the site of your memorial everyday for my commute to lab. It reminds me of how much kindness and goodness there is in the world despite tragedy. My condolences to the Collier family.
