I didn't know Officer Collier, but after reading about him, I wish I had. Condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. He'll be missed.

MIT is an urban campus, exposed to the many positive, and negative, influences that that entails. But as a student, I always felt safe at MIT due to the vigilance of the campus police. I cannot adequately express my appreciation for the sacrifice made by Officer Collier in protecting the MIT community. My deepest condolences to his family and his many friends.

May our Lord grant peace to Officer Collier's family, and merciful justice to those who'd perpetrate such a miss-guided act.

It is with profound sadness and great pride in this American Hero, the Spirit of this Country shown in his face and Unfailing Sense of Duty in his Body, Officer Collier gave his life, just like other Americans did so many years ago, not far away, to begin this revolution that we so take for granted, it is this thought and promise he so justly served. May God Bless Him, His Family, and the MIT Community, he so loyally served.

It's strange that just a few weeks ago, I remembered you stopping @ Tang and leaving your vehicle unlocked in order to take a bathroom break. At the time, I simply thought the worst that could happen was some MIT student play a prank on you for leaving your vehicle. I never imagined this. I didn't get to know you, but I admire your trust in our community. Unfortunately, someone decided to play upon that trust.

I hope you are at peace, hiking the mountains of the world. :)

I offer my condolences for Sean's tragic and shocking death and thank him and the MIT Police for keeping the campus safe. I appreciated the support 25 years ago when I was a student, and hail your bravery now as an alumna.

I hope that you find some comfort in the knowledge that so many of us, all over the world are remembering your Sean.

Here in London we paused yesterday to pay our respects to the memory of those lost, and in solidarity with the survivors. I thought of the young man, and his brothers and sisters who serve and protect us all. I am very sorry for your loss.
