Sean Collier

I didn't know Officer Collier personally, but staring at his picture I feel that I do... I see warmth and friendship in his eyes, somebody who would offer to help before you ask - qualities of character, leadership and making a difference. To his parents, these are my emotions from a picture, then I cannot even attempt to comprehend the greatness of the people who raised him to be the young man he is, how proud and how sad you must be. He leaves a whole that one can never fill, but also a memory that will never be forgotten. P.S. Sean, my name is Quintin, please to meet you!

Our thoughts, prayers, and love go out to Sean, his family, his MIT police family, his MIT community, and all his brothers and sisters in law enforcement. We are parents of an MIT student, and we know he loved the students and staff, and they love him.

Sorry for loosing you and thanks for your service. May God grant your family strength, peace, and patience. RIP

So saddened by this tragic event here in Nova Scotia, we like many others here have ties to the area, family and friends, that it shakes us to the core when this happens. Our thoughts are with you at this time. May God bless Sean's soul, and his family at this sad time.

My sister is a student at MIT and I can't thank Officer Collier enough for being there to protect her. I will forever be indebted to you. Thank you for all that you did. You will never be forgotten but be remembered often.

Like many others, I didn't know Sean personally but am tremendously saddened by his loss, and wish to express my gratitude that he risked and ultimately sacrificed his life in order to serve and protect his city and the MIT community. As we all struggle to make sense of what happened last week and to heal, we remember those who were taken and pray for them and their families, friends and loved ones. May angels lead you in.
