My deepest condolences to Andy, Jenn, and the rest of Sean's family, the MIT Police, and Boston as a whole. I am proud that I actually got to know him. He was fun and selfless. Thanks to you, Sean, for backing me up in the streets of the Belize ghetto. Thanks for getting me drunk when I came to visit in Boston. Thanks for driving us back to our hotel when you didn't have to and it was 15 miles out of your way. Thanks for everything. You will be missed.

To the family, friends and brothers and sisters in law enforcement, my family and I send our deepest condolences. No words and or actions can remove the pain and loss you have experienced, however, there is someone who can help you in your time of sorrow and loss. I pray that the one and only living God will send his comforter, the Holy Spirit, to help you during this time and that you may encounter the love of Jesus in a new and powerful way.

We live in a fallen world and darkness surrounds us, but the light and love of Jesus will never fail anyone who calls on his name.

I pray for peace and blessings for you all.

Thank you so much for your service. My dad was James Mahoney, who had been Deputy-Chief of MIT police before he retired in the 90's. He loved all the men and women of MIT PD, and so do I. They all took care of me and my classmates when I attended MIT. I know how dedicated and brave the police are. Although he did not meet Sean, I am sure dad would have been so proud of him. He represented the department honorably. Perhaps he has met dad in heaven, and they are exchanging stories about the 'Tute.

Prayers and blessings to Sean's family and the MIT community. You are all in my heart,

Laurel Mahoney Francoeur '92

"Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That, we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?

I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.

All is well."
-Henry Scott Holland

We appreciate all you do, we will never forget you.
